By accessing or using SongFinder, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

Description of Service

SongFinder provides free online music recognition and browser-based audio processing tools. Our services include song identification, BPM detection, key detection, chord detection, audio equalization, speed and pitch adjustment, audio trimming, merging, mood analysis, audio-to-MIDI conversion, normalization, and noise reduction.

Free Service

All tools and features are provided free of charge. No account registration is required. We reserve the right to introduce optional paid features in the future, but core tools will remain free.

How the Service Works

Browser-Based Tools

Audio tools (BPM Detector, Key Detector, Equalizer, etc.) process audio entirely in your browser. Your files are never uploaded to our servers.

Song Recognition

When using the Song Recognizer, the selected audio input is sent to configured third-party recognition services for identification. The active chain may use ACRCloud, AudioTag, and Shazam; AudD is currently disabled. Uploaded audio is processed for the request and not retained by us after recognition.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use automated scripts or bots to access the service at excessive rates.
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract source code from the service.
• Use the service to infringe on the intellectual property or other rights of any party.
• Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the service.
• Circumvent any rate limiting or access restrictions.

Intellectual Property

The service, its design, code, and original content are owned by the SongFinder team and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. Audio files you process remain yours — we claim no rights to your content.

Recognition Accuracy

Song recognition results depend on audio quality, recording conditions, and the coverage of our recognition databases. We do not guarantee 100% accuracy. Results are provided "as-is" for informational purposes.

Limitation of Liability

The service is provided "as-is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of your use of or inability to use the service.

Service Availability

We strive to maintain high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the service at any time.

Changes to These Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be reflected by updating the date at the top of this page. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance.
